LED Lighting Products

Why LED?

LED’s are the safe, green and cost effective replacement for incandescent and compact fluorescent bulbs. LED bulbs use up to 80% less energy than incandescent bulbs and also put off little to no heat, which helps on cooling costs. Compact fluorescent bulbs may be low wattage, however they contain Mercury unlike the LED bulbs.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, “No other lighting technology offers as much potential to save energy and enhance the quality of our building environments, contributing to our nation’s energy and climate change solutions.”

LED’s last between 50,000 to 80,000 hours, which means that if you were running them 8 hours a day, you could expect 17+ years. Traditionally, LED bulbs come with a five year warranty.

How Do LED’s Work?

LEDs are just tiny light bulbs that fit easily into an electrical circuit. But unlike ordinary incandescent bulbs, they don’t have a filament that will burn out, and they don’t get especially hot. They are illuminated solely by the movement of electrons in a semiconductor material, and they last just as long as a standard transistor. The lifespan of an LED surpasses the short life of an incandescent bulb by thousands of hours.

Benefits:

  • Save Energy each and every month
  • Dimmable
  • Less waste in landfills
  • Less power
  • Long lasting bulbs
  • Better temperature colors
